I created a directory “PSScripts“ on my PC – there I wanted to do some powershell stuff. I likewise created a file called “test.ps“ where I wanted to do some coding stuff. I set the programme supposed to open all files with the .ps-extension to powershell, and naively I thought that nothing serious would happen if I click onto the empty .ps-file which, when double clicked, is henceforth opened with windows powershell.

What I got to my utter amazement was the following phenomenon. There was a pulsating (!) blue powershell window. In addition to all this, I could not stop that puslating thing except by restarting the computer.

My question is: why did I get what I got? Is there a way to crcumvent it, for example by typing some specific code into the .ps-file?
